Aleister Black Makes WWE Career Goals Clear
Aleister Black has begun defining his goals in WWE.
The 40-year-old star returned to the Stamford promotion earlier this year, picking up a feud with The Miz.
Since then, he has been involved in multiple storylines and currently has a rivalry with Damian Priest.
On the November 7 taping of SmackDown, the Dutchman faced Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a non-title match.
Last month, he answered Sami Zayn’s United States Championship open challenge, but lost the match after getting distracted by Priest’s interference.
Considering Aleister Black has received multiple high-profile matches in such a short time, it is safe to assume that the company has interesting plans for him.
Black recently spoke with The Takedown on SI, where he defined his career goals within the Stamford-based company, including appearing on WrestleMania and every other PLE around the year and winning championships.
That’s the goal. And then the goal is to be on every pay-per-view. And then the goal is to go to championship one and championship two. And I think if you don’t realistically put yourself there mentally, then you need to find a way to put yourself there mentally. [H/T: The Takedown]
Aleister Black Reflects On His Relationship With Triple H
Since taking over creative responsibilities, Triple H has had a close working relationship with all the wrestlers on different brands.
Aleister Black recently discussed his bond with the WWE Chief Content Officer, explaining that their relationship has always been positive.
Hunter and I have always had a good working relationship. NXT Aleister Black was a cooperation between him and me, where I would pitch an idea and he would kind of flesh it out better. Right now, that is just happening on a grand scale, and it’s been very rewarding.
