A WWE superstar was seen receiving medical aid after suffering an injury on SmackDown.

The main event match on November 7 saw Cody Rhodes face Aleister Black, but not for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Earlier in the night, Rhodes claimed that he was moving on from Drew McIntyre after beating him at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI.

He addressed the controversial ending to the bout, where he hit a DDT on McIntyre by dropping him on the belt with the referee turned away.

The American Nightmare called McIntyre “the most self-sabotaging pro wrestler,” reminding the audience that he was the one who introduced the belt in their match.

Cody then expressed his desire to sit with the fans and determine who his next challenger was going to be.

This prompted Black to come out with his wife, Zelina Vega, and demand a match, to which Rhodes agreed.

Both wrestlers put on a dominating show, with Vega making her presence felt by the ringside, causing interference.

The match ended in a No Contest after McIntyre hit the referee with a Claymore Kick.

Damian Priest Injured On WWE SmackDown

After attacking the referee, Drew McIntyre continued yelling at him.

Rhodes jumped in and hit The Scottish Warrior, which led to Aleister Black jumping in. As both McIntyre and Black continued attacking Rhodes, Damian Priest’s music hit.

Priest has had a months-long feud with Aleister. On the SmackDown episode before Crown Jewel, the two superstars competed in the main event, with Black sending a fireball in Priest’s face.

Priest separated Black from the melee and attacked him outside the ring. However, Black wrecked his injured eye before escaping through the crowd.

Later, WWE shared a video showing The Archer of Infamy being attended by medical professionals.

Priest was in pain and frustrated at having his eye targeted again.
