AJ Lee Finally Breaks Silence On Surprising RAW Return

AJ LEE

AJ Lee made her much-awaited return to WWE RAW on November 17.

Lee had not been seen since her mixed tag team match with CM Punk against Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at Wrestlepalooza.

Amid speculations, it was revealed that she was on a book promotion tour.

On the latest taping of the red brand, Maxxine Dupri was scheduled to face Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

This was the third match between the two female stars, with Dupri winning both their previous two bouts, one via Count-Out and the other via DQ.

Similar to their earlier encounters, Lynch found herself distracted by the presence of Jessika Carr as the referee, constantly bickering with her during the fight.

She finally managed to distract Carr and went to the corner to undo the turnbuckle safety. But while at it, AJ Lee’s music hit, taking ‘The Man’ by surprise.

On the opposite ring corner, Maxxine Dupri set herself for an aerial maneuver, hitting a crossbody on Lynch for the pinfall and title change.

Lee took to Instagram to comment about her return to RAW, as she thanked Madison Square Garden for the warm welcome.

Madison Square Garden. NY. My bebes. You were wonderful.

(Btw, thank you for all the love on the new shirt! To celebrate its launch and its quote inspired by the great Sasha Colby, I’ll be donating to @humanrightscampaign . Check them out and show some love if you can.)

AJ Lee All But Confirmed For WarGames

By the end of the latest RAW taping, both teams in the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series had four members each, with Charlotte Flair re-joining the team.

In a backstage segment, AJ Lee was interviewed by Jackie Redmond when she was approached by Rhea Ripley.

Ripley asked if she had time for a discussion, to which she said yes, and they both exited the screen to a loud pop from the New York audience.
