An AEW star has revealed suffering an injury recently.

Queen Aminata is a rising star in the Florida-based promotion. During one of her vlogs, she admitted to suffering a knee injury during the Collision tapings in Jacksonville last week.

So, I have to rush, but I can’t really run today because when I came in, I was rolling around the ring, and I hurt my knee a little. So now I’m going to the locker room to change and do this pre-tape.

While she continued to work through the pain, she claimed that the injury got worse and became difficult to manage.

Good morning, guys. It is 3:22 a.m. and I’m heading to the airport. I’m so tired. My knee is so freaking sore. But let’s go. Traveling. Traveling is the hardest part. But here we go. Work never ends. I got home super tired, and my knee was super sore and swollen. [H/T: Ringside News]

Another AEW Star Injured During Dynamite

On October 15, AEW hosted a special 3-hour episode of Dynamite where The Opps defended their World Trios Title against Rush, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos.

While entering the ring during the closing minutes, Rush’s kneepad got caught on the bottom rope, resulting in him landing awkwardly on his elbow.

He seemed to have dislocated his shoulder, but managed to pop it back in to finish the match.

Ultimately, The Opps retained their title.

It was also recently reported that AEW star Kota Ibushi suffered a broken femur. While the wrestler underwent surgery, the recovery process is said to be lengthy.

The Japanese star confirmed that it could take him up to two years to make full recovery.
