AEW Star Still Months Away From Return

An injured AEW star has offered an update on their recovery.

On December 6th it was reported that Kyle O’Reilly had been spotted backstage at an AEW taping. The news was greeted warmly by fans as O’Reilly has been out of action for well over a year following neck surgery. To make matters worse, the star suffered a post-surgical issue which only made his recovery more difficult.

O’Reilly has been working with a strength and conditioning coach for a number of months, but there remains no word on when he’ll wrestle again.

Following Dynamite, AEW announced its next set of Canadian dates beginning in March 2024. In response, O’Reilly commented on Instagram: “I might be a wrestler again by this time” with a fingers crossed emoji.

Will Ospreay Less Enthusiastic About AEW’s Return To Canada

One of the features of Will Ospreay’s 2023 run was his hatred of all things Canadian. Ahead of Forbidden Door and his match with Kenny Omega, Ospreay lashed out at his rival, Bret Hart, and the whole nation via a series of funny videos with his girlfriend who was very much enjoying herself on the trip.

When news about the new Canadian dates broke, Will Ospreay joked that his AEW career would begin in hell.

The British star will return to AEW in February after he agreed a deal to join the promotion when his NJPW contract expires. Ospreay was officially unveiled as All Elite at Full Gear in November.
