Will Ospreay will be in hell when he begins his AEW career.

Following the expiry of his NJPW contract in February, Will Ospreay will link up with AEW, officially becoming All Elite for the first time. The British star is coming off the back of arguably the best year of his career, and his new deal with AEW was announced at Full Gear.

Although not under contract, Ospreay starred for AEW in 2023, most famously clashing with Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door in June in what many consider the match of the year.

Ahead of the event, Ospreay made it clear he wasn’t a fan of Omega, Canada, or Bret Hart. So naturally, he was delighted to find out on social media that AEW will be heading back to Canada just after his full-time spell with the company begins.

AEW Out-Bid WWE To Land Will Ospreay

Ahead of the British star signing with AEW, it was something of an open secret that WWE was interested in securing his signature. However, it’s since been reported that AEW offered “substantially” more money for Will Ospreay, ensuring they got the deal done.

Ospreay also received a huge offer from IMPACT Wrestling but again chose to turn it down. Despite this, the star is scheduled to work with the company in 2024.
