AEW Star Joins New Faction After Tony Khan Intervention (SPOILER)

Tony Khan AEW

One faction now boasts an AEW star after Tony Khan made an on-screen appearance.

AEW is no stranger to a faction or two and now it seems that one in Ring of Honor has been boosted by an AEW star. ROH tapings took place on September 9th after Collision and they will be aired in the coming weeks on HonorClub. However, if you can’t wait to find out which faction now has a new member then keep reading.

At the tapings, Shane Taylor took on Lee Johnson in a one-on-one bout with Taylor helped to victory by former member of The Firm Lee Johnson. The controversial finish to the match brought out ROH owner Tony Khan but Shane Taylor took the microphone from Khan to confirm Moriarty as the newest member of Shane Taylor promotions.

AEW owner Tony Khan makes another appearance on Saturday nights

This is the second time in two weeks that Tony Khan has made an appearance on Saturday nights. Although notable that he appeared as part of the storyline that saw Moriarty join up with Shane Taylor, it won’t make the same headlines as his appearance ahead of Collision in Chicago did.

On the 2nd of September, Tony Khan took the bull by the horns and announced that CM Punk had been fired by AEW. Khan personally addressed the crowd in Chicago before Collision went live and dealt with the hostility of the crowd as he explained his actions and why he was left with no choice but to let their hometown hero go.
