AEW Star Thinks Jade Cargill “Looks Like A Million Dollars Again”
One AEW star thinks Jade Cargill looks like a star again in WWE.
Jade Cargill stunned the wrestling world on the 26th of September when it was announced that she had signed a deal with WWE following her contract with AEW coming to an end. While some new signings go quietly about their business in NXT before making it to the main roster, WWE is doing quite the opposite with Cargill, touting her signing on both Raw and SmackDown.
On the season premiere of the blue brand, there were major implications for the WWE Women’s Championship after Bayley took on Zelina Vega. Bayley won and as Damage CTRL continued their assault on Vega, they were chased off by Charlotte Flair.
Later in the evening, Charlotte Flair was seen in new SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis’ office and there was a huge face-off that took place as The Queen turned around to come nose-to-nose with Jade Cargill. The two women briefly exchanged words but perhaps the seed had been planted for what would be a huge match somewhere down the line.
Thunder Rosa can’t wait to see what Jade Cargill does in WWE
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa gave her thoughts on Jade Cargill’s presentation so far in WWE and is excited to see what her friend can do in her new surroundings:
“When you have your friends, just promote your friends and be happy [for] what’s happening for them. I want to give a shout-out to Jade Cargill. She looked like a million dollars again.
“She’s all in my feed, all up in my feed. She’s doing something else and it’s like… I mean, I don’t know man. Like if I go to somewhere else, I want to be treated like that. Like a superstar. So it’s really cool to see that and my blessing to her and I can’t wait to see her in the ring, and I can’t wait to see what they have for her.”
Jade Cargill and Thunder Rosa only clashed one-on-one once in AEW when Cargill defeated La Mera Mera in the semi-finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural TBS Champion.
