AEW Star Comments On All Out Fight – “One Person Was Viewing Things Negatively”

CM Punk Tony Khan AEW

An AEW star has given some thoughts on the situation that saw The Young Bucks and CM Punk involved in a backstage fight at All Out.

At All Out in September 2022, CM Punk recaptured the AEW World Championship in the main event from Jon Moxley. However, at the post-show media scrum things went south in a hurry. A clearly irked Punk took issue with several of his co-workers including The Young Bucks, Hangman Adam Page, and Colt Cabana, and told his fellow stars if they had a problem with him to come and speak to him.

Immediately after that tirade, The Young Bucks are alleged to have confronted Punk in his locker room leading to a brawl that saw them as well as Kenny Omega being suspended while Punk’s friend and company producer Ace Steel was fired for his part in the melee.

While The Bucks and Omega have since returned to AEW television and recaptured the Trios Championship, CM Punk has not been seen again as of yet as he also recovers from an injury suffered in his match with Moxley.

Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, Jake Hager was asked if he could comment on the situation and says he doesn’t think the “one person” that was “viewing things so negatively” was correct:

“I’m sure I can, but I don’t really want to. Who knows how animosity builds and how lack of communication leads to certain things. I think it all stems from how you view things. Obviously, one person in that party was viewing things so negatively and I don’t think he was correct.”

While Hager did not name names, WWE star Seth Rollins recently did calling CM Punk “a cancer” and told him to stay away from WWE.
