WWE Royal Rumble Lineup Update – Edge Added to Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Women’s Tag Team Title Rematch, More

This year’s Royal Rumble event is just five days away. Following last night’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, the big news concerning the Royal Rumble is that Edge announced that he will be a part of the Royal Rumble match this year. It was one year ago when Edge made his surprising return in the 2020 Royal Rumble after a nine-year layoff. This time, Edge is coming back again after a torn triceps injury he suffered at Backlash last June. Edge had surgery on the triceps, rehabbed and now he’s ready to go.

The other news regarding the Royal Rumble is that WWE announced a Women’s Tag Team Title match that will be a rematch from the TLC PPV last month. The team of Asuka and Charlotte Flair will defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles against former champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. It’s interesting to note that Charlotte, Shayna and Nia are all in the Women’s Royal Rumble match as well. Busy night for those three ladies.

As for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, you can see the list of names below. There are currently 17 male wrestlers announced and 12 female wrestlers announced. By the end of the week, maybe WWE announces 20 or more names for both matches and leaves it that way so there are some surprises. We don’t know many people they might announce.

Here’s the lineup for WWE Royal Rumble this Sunday, January 31.

30-Man Royal Rumble Match – Announced entrants are: Edge, Jeff Hardy, Jey Uso, Cesaro, The Miz, Otis, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sheamus, John Morrison, Mustafa Ali and more.

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match – Announced entrants are: Shayna Baszler, Alexa Bliss, Peyton Royce, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Tamina and more.
