2009 – TNA Wrestling taped their special ‘New Year’s Eve Knockout’ event from the Impact Zone that aired on New Year’s Eve. The hook for the show was a one-night Knockouts tournament with the winner challenging for the TNA Knockouts Championship on the first Impact of 2010. The tournament was won by ODB, defeating Hamada in the final. The highlight of the show was probably the dark match, in which The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) faced off with The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley).
2010 – WWE taped SmackDown at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas with an unusual main event. In a handicap match, John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler and… Vickie Guerrero.
2015 – WWE presented the Slammy Awards on an episode of Raw. The Superstar Of The Year award went to Seth Rollins with The Usos taking Tag Team Of The Year.
