WWE’s Saudi Schedule May Impact 2026 Survivor Series

WWE Survivor Series

WWE and Saudi Arabia signed a 10-year strategic partnership in 2018, which ensured the global juggernaut would hold premium live events and live streaming events in the country.

Since the agreement was implemented, WWE has had two PPVs in Saudi Arabia, one in Jeddah and another in Riyadh. However, the two PPVs per year aren’t set in stone.

It so happens that the 2025 calendar only saw one premium live event in Saudi Arabia, since there will now be three events in Saudi Arabia in 2026.

WWE Survivor Series might be moved to Saudi Arabia in 2026

Recently, the announcement of three events led analysts and experts to believe that WWE was truly taking things up a notch. However, the exact three events haven’t been named yet.

Sean Ross Sapp analyzed the schedule on Fightful Report and explained that Royal Rumble 2026 will be in Riyadh in January. Following that, there could be a PPV in May and another in November. Usually, WWE does Survivor Series during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Saudi Arabia confirmed with Sean Ross Sapp that Survivor Series, if moved to Riyadh or Jeddah, wouldn’t happen over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Now November would lead a lot of people to naturally assume, insinuate, speculate that Survivor Series could be on the slate. Now the last three years, WWE has done Thanksgiving weekend for Survivor Series and I spoke to a higher up who wouldn’t confirm the schedule or event with me, but I did confirm it with those in Saudi Arabia.

However, the higher up said, ‘Well, it’s not going to be Thanksgiving weekend in Saudi Arabia.’ So one of two things will happen—either it’ll be a completely different event, or they will move Survivor Series off of Thanksgiving weekend in order to, you know, give talent more time with their families and stuff like that.[h/t: Ringside News]

Survivor Series has been held during Thanksgiving weekend for decades. However, ever since TKO acquired WWE, the focus has shifted from fans to profits. The deal with Saudi Arabia is going to be greatly profitable for WWE, and hence, the legacy might change!
