WWE’s Logan Paul Retires From Boxing
Logan Paul is walking away from the boxing world to concentrate on being a fighting WWE United States Champion.
Logan Paul captured the WWE US Championship at Crown Jewel from Rey Mysterio marking his first gold since entering the world of wrestling.
The social media star helped launch the new crossover world of boxing and has shared the ring with his fellow YouTube star KSI as well as Floyd Mayweather Jr. His most recent bout saw him defeat Dillon Danis by disqualification and it was after that win that Paul called out Mysterio for a title shot.
Speaking to Fox Business in an interview where he also denied voting for Donald Trump in 2020, Logan Paul noted he thinks he’s retired from the boxing world and says there’s no money left in the sport:
Yeah, I think I’ve retired from boxing. I think I’ve done enough in this sport, going fully undefeated at 25 and 0. So yeah, I’m gonna be a wrestler now.
There’s no more money in boxing. Every company is going broke. So, full-time wrestler. As it stands, I beat Rey Mysterio fair and square for the US championship. It was great.
Logan Paul To Be A Fixture In WWE
Logan Paul recently noted that he’s going to be appearing regularly in WWE now he’s a champion in the company. Although the US Title has been a mainstay of SmackDown in recent times, Paul has urged fans to watch both the blue brand and Raw as you never know where he might show up.
