Ex-WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Omos has been absent from WWE TV for almost two years.

The 33-year-old’s last televised match in WWE was at the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5, 2024 episode of SmackDown (which aired just before WrestleMania 40).

He has not appeared on TV since, marking about 21 months of absence as of January 2026. He returned to in-ring action at NXT live events but has yet to make his televised comeback.

Amidst his absence from the Stamford-based promotion, he competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH (even won GHC Tag Titles with Jack Morris) and AAA’s Triplemania XXXIII.

Fightful Select recently reached out to the Stamford-based promotion to ask about Omos’ appearance in AAA and was told that the company has been “happy with the reception” to his involvement.

It was also noted that WWE has indicated to its fanbase that they can anticipate more international events like these in the future. Fightful also asked the Stamford-based promotion why Omos hasn’t returned to television yet, but the Stamford-based company did not comment.

WWE Star Omos Might Return At Royal Rumble 2026

Omos was featured on WWE’s recent promotion tour to Saudi Arabia. He was seen playing a tower-building challenge with stars like Randy Orton and Liv Morgan at MrBeast Land.

Triple H sending Omos on the Riyadh promotional tour might be a hint that the Stamford-based promotion is preparing to bring him back at the Royal Rumble PLE.

Therefore, he could show up during the men’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
