WWE WrestleMania To Be Held Outside Of North America In 2027

Triple H WWE WrestleMania press conference

WWE WrestleMania is leaving North America.

Back in January, it was announced that the 2026 Royal Rumble would be held in Saudi Arabia. This marks the first time that one of WWE’s traditional “big four” events has been held in the kingdom.

This only increased speculation that WrestleMania would also be heading to Saudi Arabia in the near future as the kingdom’s relationship with the sports entertainment giant grows ever stronger.

Incredibly, there have even been reports that WWE is considering holding two WrestleMania events in the same year, with one in the United States and one in Saudi Arabia.

In a new Snapchat video, Saudi Arabian adviser Turki Alalshikh announced that WrestleMania will be held in the kingdom in 2027. The 2026 event will be held in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.

“WrestleMania has been announced, for the first time outside of America, WrestleMania in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2027.”

Report Backs Up WWE WrestleMania Claims

That bombshell was followed by a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who confirmed that the plans are genuine. According to the report, a press release wasn’t meant to be made public, and as a result, it was quickly pulled. But despite that, WrestleMania is heading to Saudi Arabia.

PWInsider.com can confirm, however, that the story is 100% legitimate and an announcement is coming very soon, bringing Wrestlemania to an international location outside of North America for the first time ever.

During a recent interview, Triple H claimed that WWE had helped force social change in Saudi Arabia, especially in relation to attitudes toward women.
