WWE Makes WrestleMania 43 Announcement – Press Conference Recap

A WWE press conference in Las Vegas was the location of a massive announcement about WrestleMania 43.

The city of Las Vegas was the host of WrestleMania 41, and it will host WrestleMania 42 in 2026. It’s also the location of what WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, called a huge announcement.

It is expected that WrestleMania 43 will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2027.

Saudi Arabian Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, who made the WrestleMania announcement on Snapchat, is in Las Vegas promoting the Alvarez/Crawford fight along with TKO Group, who are the owners of WWE.

A press conference aired free worldwide on WWE’s YouTube at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. The company’s YouTube channel is promoting Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Charlotte Flair as appearing. The press conference was hosted by WWE announcer Joe Tessitore. There were WWE Hall of Famers on hand, including The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, who is an executive in WWE running the NXT brand. There were WWE superstars on hand: Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, Logan Paul, and the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque spoke about how WrestleMania is one of the greatest sports franchises ever. Hunter discussed how WrestleMania is a cultural phenomenon that unites people worldwide. Triple H mentioned WWE PLE’s streaming on ESPN in the US and Netflix around the world. Hunter mentioned WrestleMania 42 is in Las Vegas.

Triple H introduced the Saudi Arabian Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, to help make the big announcement. Triple H called him a man who is changing the face of sports and entertainment.

Triple H mentioned that Royal Rumble 2026 is headed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and today, they are announcing that the partnership is going to another level.

It was announced that WrestleMania will be held outside of the US and Canada for the first time ever. WrestleMania 43 in 2027 will take place in Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season. Triple H said that history will be made again. Triple H said they cannot be more excited about this opportunity. Triple H said that they are a global brand that excites fans everywhere.

The Undertaker talked about how he has enjoyed performing in Saudi Arabia in the past. Taker spoke about the love and appreciation that the Saudi Arabian people have for what WWE does.

Bianca Belair said it is amazing to perform in Saudi Arabia. Belair said it’s a place for women to make history, and every time they goes there, she sees it evolve. Belair spoke about how, after doing a women’s battle royal, the fans had chants for them, and they had a special moment with Natalya, who was in the first women’s match in Saudi Arabia. Belair spoke about how WWE transcends history and it’s special to be part of this.

Triple H And Turki Alalshikh Address WWE WrestleMania 43 In Saudi Arabia

Triple H spoke about the evolution of WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia over the last eight years. Hunter said it’s been a special thing to see. Hunter said that as much as everybody knows how global they are, this doesn’t happen without His Excellency and the fans that have worked hard to support WWE, and they know everything. Hunter said that Riyadh fans are among the best fanbases on the planet, with fans in France and England. Hunter said that when they come together in Saudi Arabia, you can expect something like you have never seen before.

Turki was asked by Joe about how much it means to have WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia. Turki thanked supporters in Saudi Arabia. Turki recalled eight years ago when he met Vince McMahon and Triple H, and he told them he wanted to change the future by having big projects together. Turki talked about how his close friend Nick Khan became WWE President, and now he’s continuing the legacy of Vince McMahon. Turki talked about how WrestleMania brought Las Vegas, leading to 200,000 people and over $1 billion, and this is very big for them in Saudi Arabia. Turki talked about how his people in Saudi Arabia are excited about this.

The WWE 2026 Royal Rumble will be on January 31st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The press conference ended with Joe Tessitore plugging WWE SmackDown and WWE-AAA Worlds Collide later tonight. They also plugged the Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford fight in Las Vegas on Saturday night, and it’s airing on Netflix worldwide.
