A WWE star wants to stay with the company for the rest of their career.

Despite re-signing with the company months earlier, Carlito finally returned to WWE full-time at Fastlane in October 2023. The star initially formed part of the LWO before joining Judgment Day after being drafted to Raw in April 2024.

The wheels were put into motion for the comeback after a surprise appearance at Backlash in Puerto Rico during the match between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest.

The former Intercontinental Champion originally left the company back in 2010, only making a one-off return at the 2021 Royal Rumble.

During a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, the veteran was asked whether he ever considered signing with AEW. However, as Carlito explained, he never really saw the promotion as an option, adding that he’d like to end his career with WWE.

“I have a thing with loyalty, you know. I mean, I’ve only ever been a WWE guy, so I always kind of liked that, you know, just being a one-company guy. So, I mean, as long as they’ll have me, you know, I’d try to stay loyal to WWE as long as I could, and hopefully, I would honestly like to end my career with them.”

Multiple Ex-AEW Stars Expected To Land In WWE

Meanwhile, Malakai Black, Ricky Starks, and Miro have all officially left AEW and are free to resume their careers elsewhere. It’s been widely reported that all three men will sign with WWE as soon as they’re able to do so.

With regard to Starks, it’s been reported that he told AEW in late 2023 not to pick up the option on his contract the following spring, but the company did so against his wishes.

Despite expressing his own desire to leave, Rey Fenix remains under contract and unable to join his brother Penta on Raw.
