WWE Veteran Takes Brutal Dig At Triple H

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has come under fire once again, with a WWE veteran taking a brutal dig at him.

2025 was a mixed year for the Stamford promotion’s Chief Content Officer as far as in-ring storylines went. The company also received flak multiple times for its releases and mishandling of talents, including Karrion Kross and R-Truth.

Levesque took on the responsibility as the company’s CCO in 2022, following which he heads the creative team as seen in Season 1 of WWE: Unreal.

After achieving multiple milestones between then and 2024, the creative team suffered major hiccups throughout 2025, which was also dedicated to John Cena as his retirement tour.

Fans will be keen to watch everything that happened post-WrestleMania 41 in Season 2 of Unreal, which will be released on Netflix on January 20.

Apart from fans, Triple H has fallen into the wrong books of several former employees and WWE critics, who do not miss the opportunity to criticize him for every decision they believe to be a misstep.

One of his strongest critics has been the company’s ex-creative writer Vince Russo, who took another sly dig at the 56-year-old recently.

Vince Russo Targets Triple H Through His WWE Merchandise

Vince Russo took a brutal shot at Triple H by sharing a picture of his WWE merch listed with a 50% off the original price under a clearance sale.

Captioning the X post, Russo wrote, “That about sums it up.

The 64-year-old recently called the company’s boss ‘the worst booker.’

His comments came during a podcast episode on his YouTube channel, where the panel discussed the interference by a masked individual during Survivor Series: WarGames.

Their discussion was centered around the subsequent Raw episode, where the masked man was barely mentioned, despite it being the main story.

In my 55 years of watching televised wrestling, I am now gonna make the declaration without a shadow of a doubt, Triple H is the worst booker I have ever seen since 1971. You’ve got a masked guy at the WarGames. Screw the babyface team, and none of the babyfaces are on Monday Night RAW to get answers and find out who effed them?

Are you effing kidding me? And bro, it’s so important, and it’s a story of such magnitude that the only one that seems to care about it is Adam Pearce, and he cares about it to the point, Stevie, of putting a referee on it. Triple H, brother, you suck. It can’t get any worse than you.
