Why WWE Should Just Vacate World Title If Seth Rollins Is Injured
Seth Rollins reportedly suffered an injury at Crown Jewel 2025.
At the recent PLE in Perth, Rollins took on Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship. During the match, he used a coast-to-coast headbutt on his opponent, which is said to be the driving force behind his alleged injury. According to the word on the street, he was seen wearing a sling after the premium live event.
Sportskeeda recently reported that if the alleged injury is actually a serious one, then WWE may opt to dethrone him as the current World Heavyweight Champion.
They are almost for sure taking the title off him. Plenty of people are talking about it. It’s not confirmed yet, as they want to see the results of a few tests, but some of those in the know say the title may go off him, unfortunately. Goes to whom let’s see.
Injured Seth Rollins Should Not Be A Champion, Says Sam Roberts
Sam Roberts feels that WWE stripping The Visionary of his title if he’s legit injured makes the most sense because an injured champion is no good for the business.
“I think I would just rather see the World Title get taken off of Seth Rollins. I think I would rather see the World Heavyweight Championship get vacated,” Roberts said on his Notsam Wrestling podcast.
Roberts also commented on the fact that WWE might book Bron Breakker, who turned on Seth Rollins on Raw, to challenge the champion for his title and defeat him in a squash match. But that’s something Roberts doesn’t wanna personally see happen.
He added, “I think that I don’t want Braun Breaker’s first World Heavyweight title win to just be a 10-second squash with Seth Rollins. It just doesn’t feel like that’s the moment that we’ve been building to. It doesn’t feel like that.” (From 9:39)
