WWE Tournament Final Line-Up Confirmed
The final of one WWE tournament is now set.
For the last several weeks, the stars of NXT alongside some stars from WWE’s main roster have been competing in the Global Heritage Invitational to earn a shot at the Heritage Cup currently held by Noam Dar.
Two groups of four stars battled in a round-robin style tournament and the winners of those groups were decided on the 19th of September edition of NXT. Group A proved the most straightforward as Butch took on Tyler Bate in a straight shootout for the chance to move onto the final. In the end, it was Butch that defeated his old rival to move on.
Group B was a more complicated affair as Chase U’s Duke Hudson picked up a win over Joe Coffey which led to a three-way tie in the group between both men alongside Nathan Frazer. That led to a triple threat match later in the night with the winner moving on to face Butch. Joe Coffey picked up the win in that bout meaning it will be Scotland vs. England in the tournament final.
That final will take place on the 26th of September edition of NXT with the winner moving on to challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at No Mercy on September 30th.
