WWE Stars Present Titles At Big 12 Championship Football Game
There was a strong WWE presence at the NCAA’s Big 12 Championship football game led by The Undertaker, Sheamus and others.
In the weeks before the Big 12 Championship game, WWE announced that there would be a strong company presence to hand out championships at the big game taking place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, which is a venue that has hosted two WrestleMania events.
The WWE superstars on hand at the game were WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, his wife Michelle McCool, who is a former Women’s & Divas Champion, plus two former WWE Champions Sheamus & Drew McIntyre, Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin and Jade Cargill, who has yet to have a match in WWE.

In addition to that, the halftime show was performed by singer Nelly, who sang some of his famous songs like “Hot In Herre” and others. After his performance, WWE’s Jade Cargill presented Nelly with a WWE Championship that was shared on the company’s Instagram page.

It was an easy win for the Texas Longhorns as they defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 49-21 to win the Big 12 Title.
After the game, Texas Longhorns Quarterback Quinn Ewers was presented with the WWE Most Outstanding Player Championship by The Undertaker, who just so happens to be a huge Texas Longhorns fan himself.

It’s a smart strategy for WWE to have a strong presence at major sporting events like this because it promotes the company on a different stage.
