WWE Tag Team Reunion Expected Once Injured Star Returns

Triple H WWE

It seems the end of one WWE tag team might not be as final as fans have been led to believe.

WWE has never been shy when it comes to splitting up tag teams. Although how they go about it sometimes leaves more questions than answers.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory teased a split for well over a year before Theory disappeared from TV and Waller joined up with The New Day, noting that he’d dropped the “dead weight.”

One of the more unlikely teams in recent years was the union between The Miz and Carmelo Hayes. Melo Don’t Miz was never long for this world, and they recently split up, and have since continued to be a thorn in each other’s side.

Pretty Deadly Could Return In WWE

The last time WWE fans saw Pretty Deadly in action was back in May when they lost to Fraxiom on SmackDown. An injury to Elton Prince put him on the shelf, leaving Kit Wilson to go it alone in the company. Wilson had only appeared in losing efforts since then on Main Event and in the WWE Speed tournament, but he returned to action on the 31st of October edition of SmackDown, where he took on Carmelo Hayes.

Hayes won the match, but fans noted that Wilson had new music and appeared to be moving on from Pretty Deadly, indicating that the tag team was now pretty dead. But that might not be the case after all.

Fightful Select noted in a report that they’ve been told that there’s a high likelihood that Pretty Deadly will reunite when Elton Prince is able to return to the ring following his injury.
