WWE Talent Reveals New Role
In recent weeks, the broadcast teams in WWE have had a big shakeup.
This included both the announce desk and backstage interviewers. While Byron Saxton and Jackie Redmond became the interviewers for Raw, Cathy Kelly and Kayla Braxton were given the role for SmackDown.
This left Sarah Schreiber in limbo, as she has been regularly grilling wrestlers backstage on the red brand for months now.
However, the star has revealed on social media that she was the ring announcer for the latest tapings of NXT Level Up, a role normally held by Kelly Kincaid.

Schreiber is no stranger to NXT, as she debuted as part of the broadcast team there in 2018. It was on the developmental brand that she honed her skills as a backstage interviewer by putting questions to stars following their matches.
During this time, she also served as the host and ring announcer for NXT live events around the US.
What changes were made to WWE Raw and SmackDown?
The main roster also saw multiple changes to the announcing teams. From August 7th, Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick joined SmackDown, while Wade Barrett moved to Raw. Michael Cole is now pulling double duty as the lead play-by-play announcer for both brands every week.
The reason for Cole appearing on both shows is said to be down to WWE’s new owners Endeavour and their broadcast partners wanting the long-standing announcer to be the face of the company going forward.
While Patrick’s move might be seen as a demotion, it seems that he is well-liked in the company, but needs “some seasoning,” something that will be helped by having him paired up with the veteran Michael Cole.
