WWE Tag Team Split Up After Fall Out

WWE Logo over Roster

It seems things are over for one WWE tag team after one loss too many seemed to push them over the edge.

Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza have been Los Lotharios in WWE since September 2021 when the real-life cousins put their previous issues behind them and embarked on a career in the tag team division.

As time went on, they lost their surnames as is commonplace for many WWE stars only to recently get them back when they re-emerged on NXT television. Success in the tag team ranks has not come easy for the pair and their TV time on the main roster became less and less with the pair only teaming up once on SmackDown in 2023.

They teamed for the first time ever in NXT when they both returned to the brand on the 18th of July but fell to defeat at the hands of Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer. On the 25th of July edition of NXT television, footage aired of the aftermath of that defeat with it all becoming too much for Carrillo as he told Garza that he could not do “this” anymore before walking away.

What next for Carrillo and Garza in WWE?

It remains to be seen what the future holds for both stars following their fall out, but if they can get back on the same page and stop chasing women and start chasing glory as Carrillo seemed to indicate he wanted, they could become a force to be reckoned with in NXT’s tag team division.
