WWE Tag Team Split Closer Than Ever On WWE Raw

There is trouble in paradise for Imperium with Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser looking closer than ever to finally splitting on WWE Raw.

For months now, trouble has brewed between Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser with Intercontinental Champion Gunther growing tired of what he perceived as failures by Vinci. Rather than take his tag team partner’s side, Kaiser seemed to relish in being the teacher’s pet and also made clear he was not happy at having to take responsibility for Vinci.

Now the tables have somewhat turned as tensions have risen between the pair again on Raw in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ludwig Kaiser was already annoyed with Vinci when he told him to stay in the back for his match with Johnny Gargano. However, with things looking bleak for Kaiser, Vinci did make an appearance but that only served to cause a distraction which allowed Gargano to win.

Could Imperium Go Their Separate Ways In WWE?

Backstage later in the show, Gunther seemed pleased by Vinci and wondered if he had put the wrong man in charge in Kaiser. The Ring General demanded they sort out their issues while he dealt with his Survivor Series opponent, The Miz.

Kaiser and Vinci were later one of several tag teams put into a tag team turmoil match to take place on the November 27 edition of Raw with the winner of that bout getting a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Vignettes have aired on WWE television in recent weeks highlighting Ludwig Kaiser without mention of his Imperium teammates. Should WWE plan to have him go his own way in WWE, Kaiser would be a standout candidate for a featured match in his home country when Bash In Berlin takes place in 2024.
