WWE could have a singles push in mind for a tag team star.
GUNTHER is the undisputed star of Imperium as the record-breaking WWE Intercontinental Champion who appears to be heading towards the main event scene in the company sooner rather than later. He is joined in the group by Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci but all has not been well in recent months.
While groups in wrestling almost always end up splitting up, many may have expected GUNTHER to one day leave Imperium’s tag team behind but things have proved more complex than that. Giovanni Vinci has proved to be the group’s fall guy, losing matches and earning disdain from both GUNTHER and Kaiser alike.
Despite that, the former NXT Tag Team Champions have continued to team with Kaiser and Vinci defeating Alpha Academy on the 2nd of October edition of Raw. However, on Raw in Omaha, Nebraska, WWE seemed to indicate they could have plans for Kaiser that do not feature his tag team partner.
Are WWE planning a tag team split?
During the show, a video package played highlighting Ludwig Kaiser as a work of art, with a new nickname of “A+ specimen” seemingly introduced for the German.

Despite the video package showcasing Kaiser by himself, he was joined by Giovanni Vinci earlier in the night as they assaulted Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano backstage suggesting those two teams could be meeting very soon.
