WWE Adds Two Tag Team Matches To WrestleMania

WWE has now confirmed what earlier reports had indicated as the company adds sixteen stars to the show with two huge four-way tag team matches to WrestleMania 39.

The Wrestlevotes Twitter account, which has broken many stories in the past, reported on Friday that WWE plans on adding two four-way matches to the WrestleMania 39 card.

“I’m told 2 additional matches are coming to the WrestleMania card. Both Men’s & Women’s four way tags. The men’s lineup is currently scheduled as:

Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Viking Raiders vs. Braun Strowman / Ricochet.”

On SmackDown in Kansas City, Wade Barrett was the one to announce that these matches will indeed take place and while the competitors for the men’s match weren’t confirmed, there was a match on the show to find the first team that will take place in the women’s bout.

Raquel Rodriguez and Live Morgan defeated Tegan Nox and Emma to find their way onto the WrestleMania card. With just two weeks until the show, the other three teams are sure to make themselves known sooner than later.

The full WrestleMania 39 card so far is as follows:

• Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus – WWE Intercontinental Championship
• Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul
• Brock Lesnar vs. Omos
• Damage CTRL – Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai vs. Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch & Lita
• Edge vs. Finn Balor – Hell In A Cell
• Women’s Four-Way Tag Team Match – Raquel Rodriguez/Liv Morgan vs. ?? vs. ?? vs. ??
