WWE Survivor Series ended with a big question looming over everyone’s minds. Who is the mystery man who attacked CM Punk?

In the main event of the premium live event, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns took on Paul Heyman’s team of Brock Lesnar, Bronson Reed, Bron Breaker, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul.

As the match reached its end, the fans saw a hooded figure with a mask appear out of nowhere and climb the steel cage to attack Punk after the latter delivered a GTS on Logan Paul.

The mystery man superkicked Punk and then stomped his face onto the mat before climbing up the steel cage and leaving the venue just as he arrived. This helped the heel team to gain a pinfall victory over the babyfaces.

Many people thought that the mystery man could’ve been Seth Rollins, but Rollins is out of action due to a shoulder injury he suffered at Crown Jewel in Perth.

He’s not expected back until WrestleMania season next year. Plus, even Wade Barrett, on the commentary, insisted that the man beneath the mask is not The Visionary.

Austin Theory Is The WWE Survivor Series Mystery Man

Over the last few hours, the wrestling world has been buzzing with speculation about the mystery man’s identity. Fightful Select has just announced that Austin Theory is the mystery man.

According to the report, WWE insiders told Fightful that Austin Theory is the one who appeared in the Survivor Series WarGames match to attack CM Punk.

Theory was last seen in action on the July 14 edition of Main Event, where he lost to El Grande Americano. Since then, he has been out of action due to an undisclosed injury.

Ahead of Survivor Series, it was announced that Austin Theory is reportedly on his way back to WWE. He was supposed to fight on Paul Heyman’s heel team. But the angle never materialized.
