WWE Announce Steel Cage Match For February 6th Raw
WWE has announced that a Steel Cage match will take place on the February 6th of Monday Night Raw after two friends turned rivals continued their hostilities.
The 30th anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw was originally set to play host to a huge cage match between Bayley and Becky Lynch. However, with segments such as The Trial of Sami Zayn running long, the decision was made to scrap the match and have Bayley’s Damage CTRL group decimate Lynch inside the cage instead.
At the Royal Rumble, the bad blood between the former Four Horsewomen continued with Lynch eliminating Damage CTRL’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions IYO SKY and Dakota Kai before she was in turn eliminated from the match by Bayley herself.
On Raw in Tulsa, Oklahoma the two women came face-to-face in the ring with Bayley getting incredibly personal with The Man as she cast aspersions that Seth Rollins only married Lynch because he “knocked her up.” Becky Lynch then demanded that things be settled on Raw in Orlando, Florida inside a Steel Cage. When Bayley refused, Lynch went to the back and dragged out Dakota Kai who had a chair around her leg. Lynch threatened to “Pillmanize” Kai’s leg so Bayley quickly accepted the match.
You demanded it … and so did @BeckyLynchWWE!

A fatal four-way match will also take place on the 6th of February edition of Raw as Piper Niven, Carmella, Candice LeRae, and Michin Mia Yim face off to claim one of two remaining places inside the Elimination Chamber match to determine the number one contender for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.
