WWE Issues Statement After Names Revealed In Vince McMahon Lawsuit

WWE Vince McMahon Stephanie McMahon Nick Khan

Several names at the very top of WWE have now been revealed as the previously unnamed corporate officers who allegedly knew about Vince McMahon’s affair.

Vince McMahon has been accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking in a bombshell lawsuit filed by a former WWE employee. The lawsuit – also filed against WWE itself and former Head of Talent Relations John Lauriniatis – includes sickening allegations made against McMahon and depraved text messages allegedly sent by the former WWE owner.

As a result of the claims, Vince McMahon was told to resign by his bosses in TKO and the company is doing everything it can to distance itself from him. Vince McMahon has even been blurred out in footage in the new WWE 2K24 video game.

The lawsuit also referred to several corporate officers who are said to have known about McMahon’s relationship with the complainant with the implication they helped facilitate McMahon’s alleged behaviour.

WWE Breaks Silence On Named Corporate Officers

These corporate officers have now been revealed as WWE President Nick Khan and WWE COO Brad Blum in a report by Front Office Sports. Stephanie McMahon has also been confirmed as a third corporate officer although the details of what she knew or did remain unclear. Stephanie McMahon left WWE for a leave of absence in 2022 but returned when her father initially retired in July of that year.

When Vince McMahon forced his way back onto WWE’s Board in early 2023, Stephanie McMahon again resigned her role but this time permanently.

After the naming of the corporate officers, WWE issued a statement referring directly to Khan and Blum as they are still with the company:

WWE takes Ms. Grant’s allegations very seriously and has no tolerance for any physical abuse or unwanted physical contact.

Neither Nick Khan nor Brad Blum, prior to the lawsuit being filed on January 25, 2024, were aware of any allegation by Ms. Grant that she was the victim of abuse or unwanted physical contact; nor does the complaint allege that either had knowledge of such.

The company has already been forced to change tact regarding the lawsuit as Brock Lesnar was also not named but implicated in it. As a result, Brock Lesnar was pulled from all plans and his future with WWE remains very uncertain.
