A current WWE talent has received flak for their weak punches.

Je’Von Evans is one of the best upcoming stars, who is a regular on the company’s developmental brand NXT.

Evans recently competed in John Cena’s “Last Time Is Now” tournament, taking on the returning Gunther.

While The Ring General expectedly won, it was not before he was met with serious competition from his 21-year-old adversary.

Displaying his acrobatic wrestling style, WWE’s “Young OG” was able to hit a variety of moves on the Austrian superstar.

However, in the end, Gunther’s experience came to the fore, as he submitted Evans to his sleeper hold.

While praising Je’Von Evans’ performance, former WCW star Disco Inferno criticized his punches on the Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL podcast, claiming he ‘looked like a Sissy Mary.’

So, Je’Von Evans and Gunther. I don’t really know about Evans, but I watched…I watched his work. Very charismatic. He works the crowd, not a lot of young guys do that. They try to fire up the crowd, but he’s smart. So, he’s got a lot of charisma, he’s acrobatic, sells very well; however, his punches…he looks like a Sissy Mary. His right-hand punch looks fine, but he throws a left that looks very, like, I don’t wanna use the word ‘feminine,’ but it’s just very…the left just not really, but that was the only flaw I saw in his work. WWE’s Je’Von Evans Wins Big At AAA Event

At AAA Alianzas on November 22 in Mexico City, Je’Von Evans competed in a triple threat match against fellow WWE star Axiom and AAA’s Octagon Jr.

The trio kicked off the show while putting on an impressive, fast-paced, and action-packed bout, with the winner looking at a number one contendership for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.

In the closing minutes, Evans hit a Super OG Cutter on Octagon for the win. AAA World Cruiserweight Champion, Laredo Kid, then entered the ring for a standoff with the winner.
