WWE Star’s Contract Ends In The Summer

It seems one WWE star currently on the NXT brand could be reaching their final few months with the company.

Fightful Select has now reported that NXT star Dijak’s contract with WWE will end in June 2024. It is noted that many contracts in the company will be up this year as WWE looked to re-sign a lot of stars in 2019 when AEW was formed.

It is not yet known if Dijak is planning to re-sign with WWE or if the company is planning on offering him a new deal.

Dijak Previously Known As T-BAR In WWE

Dijak is currently experiencing a renaissance in NXT after his ill-fated spell on the WWE main roster where he was known as T-BAR and was part of the Retribution stable. Dijak and Michin remain the only members of that group now with WWE following the eventual departures of Mercedes Martinez, Shane Haste, and Mustafa Ali.

Dijak was in action at NXT Vengeance Day where he took on the unhinged Joe Gacy in a wild No Disqualification match. Prior to joining WWE in 2017, the star had been a fixture in Ring of Honor since 2014 where he was known as Donovan Dijak. The star was also known as Dominik Dijakovic during his initial run in NXT.

Another star could also be on their way out of the company in 2024 with Drew McIntyre yet to sign a new deal with WWE meaning he could well be a free agent shortly after WrestleMania 40.
