WWE Star Wins First Match In Over One Year

The Judgment Day made their presence felt on WWE Raw once again but R-Truth learned his lesson from trying to be part of the group.

R-Truth made his surprise return to WWE after a year out at Survivor Series. Unfortunately for the 53-time 24/7 Champion, that return was somewhat overshadowed by CM Punk’s at the end of the night.

The last time the star entered the ring, R-Truth’s match was called off due to injury and the star has spent a year on the shelf ever since. That bout came in November 2022 in NXT with the referee stopping the contest against Grayson Waller.

R-Truth Picks Up Miracle Win On WWE Raw

Since his return, R-Truth has tried to join up with The Judgment Day but after initially amusing the group, they quickly grew tired of Truth, and on Raw in Des Moines, Iowa he went one-on-one with JD McDonagh. But it wouldn’t be a holiday in WWE without some quirky stipulation so the match was a Miracle on 34th Street Fight.

R-Truth managed to pick up the win and there had been some debate beforehand that the loser of the bout would have to leave The Judgment Day. Damian Priest seemed keen on that idea but in the end, Rhea Ripley had the last word keeping JD McDonagh in the group, for now.

The last time R-Truth had picked up a win before Raw was back on the 3rd of November 2022 edition of Main Event when he teamed with Shelton Benjamin to defeat NXT’s Von Wagner and Duke Hudson.
