WWE Star Unimpressed By Seth Rollins’ Backlash Bout

Backlash sees WWE return to Puerto Rico on May 6th with several big matches set for the show but one of the biggest has been met with raised eyebrows from fans and one WWE star alike.

The first bouts confirmed for Backlash were Brock Lesnar taking on Cody Rhodes in what is believed to be the show’s main event and The Bloodline – minus Roman Reigns – taking on WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as well as Matt Riddle in a huge six-man tag team match.

On SmackDown in Columbus, Ohio a challenge was laid down by Zelina Vega to SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley for the event as the bad blood between The Judgment Day and the LWO continues to boil over.

Also on SmackDown, it was announced that Austin Theory would be defending his WWE United States Championship in Puerto Rico in a huge triple threat match that sees the champion take on both Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed.

One more match was announced on SmackDown and that will see Seth Rollins – who defeated Logan Paul at WrestleMania before defeating The Miz on the 17th of April edition of Raw – take on the giant Omos. The match appears to have come out of thin air as Omos and Rollins have had no interaction on-screen in recent weeks.

WWE Raw announcer Corey Graves seems to be unsure of the pairing of Seth Rollins and Omos as he took to social media to respond to the announcement with a GIF of everyone’s favorite curmudgeon, Ron Swanson.
