WWE Star Tells Ex-Partner To Grow Some Damn Balls

Peaceful tag team break-ups are a rare thing in WWE but for one trio in NXT, all seemed to have worked out, at least until now.

Brooks Jensen, Josh Briggs, and Fallon Henley had proved a popular trio in NXT. Navigating their way through a long-running storyline that also involved the villainous Kiana James, the group struggled to find success and decided it was time for a change.

Jensen, Briggs, and Henley agreed to go their own ways without any animosity and clearly a lot of love but Josh Briggs has already changed. Briggs turned heel when he attacked Trick Williams recently and his new edge has been felt by his former tag team partner.

In a backstage segment on the 6th of February NXT, John Briggs and Brooks Jensen crossed paths once again and things seemed friendly until Jensen admitted he was lost without Briggs and Henley. Instead of comforting his former tag team partner, Josh Briggs picked tough love as he pushed Jensen into the lockers while telling him he wasn’t a kid anymore and there was a Performance Center full of athletes ready to take his spot. Briggs told Jensen he could sit and cry or “grow some damn balls.”

What Else Happened On WWE NXT?

Carmelo Hayes had some explaining to do after his brutal attack on Trick Williams at Vengeance Day. Hayes was so hated that WWE staff had to give the crowd a warning over their explicit chants directed at him.

Hayes explained that Williams wasn’t on his level and he got in his way when Williams started targeting the NXT Championship. Later in the night, Hayes had his hands on that title as he laid out Ilja Dragunov following the NXT Champion’s win over Dijak.
