WWE Star Takes Shot At Gruesome Blood & Guts Moment

Jack Perry AEW Blood and Guts

One WWE star has deleted a post after seemingly taking issue with one of the most controversial moments in AEW’s Blood & Guts.

Blood & Guts is notoriously one of AEW’s most violent and bloody matches with the name itself coming from Vince McMahon’s own comments about what Tony Khan’s company was offering in its early days of existence.

2024’s double-ring cage match saw Team AEW face off with Team Elite in a match featuring barbed wire, scissors, thumbtacks, and Anthony Bowens flying through tables. Handcuffs also played more than their part in the match and the climax of the bout saw Jack Perry cuffed to the cage while beaten in the ribs with a kendo stick. Mark Briscoe took things one step further by slamming a chair into Perry’s head.

WWE’s Corey Graves Not Happy With Chair Shot

That unprotected chair shot garnered a lot of attention and WWE commentator Corey Graves had clearly been tuning in as he took to social media to post and then delete remarks seemingly condemning the spot:

This is not meant to sound judgmental, or incite “us vs. them” or question anybody’s passion, or talent or intentions.

This is just coming from a guy whose career ended from a few too many ACCIDENTAL headshots.

The ART of this business is protecting ourselves and each other.

Trust me…the gaps in memory are not worth it. I promise.

Blood & Guts was won by Team AEW as Darby Allin forced Matthew Jackson to surrender as he was set to light Jack Perry on fire again after dousing the TNT Champion in gasoline.
