Surprising WWE Star Takes Shot At Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns scowling at the camera

Roman Reigns has come under fire yet again, but this time from an unlikely source.

At night two of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns will put the Undisputed WWE Universal Title on the line against Cody Rhodes. On the opening night of the spectacular Reigns will team with The Rock to take on Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a match with huge implications.

If Rock and Reigns are victorious, the match on night two will be contested under Tribal Rules, but if Rollins and Rhodes win, The Bloodline will be banned from ringside.

While Rhodes is the heavy fan favourite to claim the Undisputed Title, the American Nightmare’s fellow WWE stars are also firmly in his corner.

Speaking to speaking to WWE: Die Woche, Xavier Woods said there’s “no way” Reigns leaves with the gold, while also taking a little shot at the Tribal Chief.

“No. There is no way he gets through WrestleMania with that championship. If he does, I don’t know, I can’t say anything just in case he does, but I fully believe he’ll no longer be champion after WrestleMania 40. Then I feel we might just have a champion who shows up and defends the title a little more. Then maybe people will have a shot at winning the Universal Championship.”

Roman Reigns’ Tribal Chief Inspired By Movie Legend

Speaking in a recent interview, Paul Heyman said Roman Reigns’ Tribal Chief persona was inspired by Marlon Brando’s character in Apocalypse Now.
