WWE Star Surprised To Still Have A Job Following Recent Cuts

WWE Raw Arena

A current WWE Superstar has surprisingly admitted they thought they were getting fired back in September.

Tegan Nox first signed with WWE in 2017 but was released in 2021 following an injury-hit spell with the company, that saw her struggle with multiple serious knee issues.

However, with Triple H in the creative hot seat, Nox returned to WWE in December 2022 on an episode of SmackDown. After briefly teaming with Liv Morgan, Nox was moved to Raw as part of the WWE Draft.

Following WWE’s merger with UFC, the company again made cuts to its talent roster with the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, and Emma being moved on. As someone who had already been released once, Nox has admitted she was expecting the call back in September.

Speaking in a new interview with Wilde On, Nox said he was “100%” sure would be released. The star is currently dealing with an injury but isn’t expected to be out of action for long.

“Oh, I was expecting a call 100% percent… like, I was like ‘Oh, I don’t want to get fired.’ But [if it happens], then that’s just life, you know? Maybe this place wasn’t meant for me. But I still got a job as of now.”

Just a weird time with everything happening. That’s why now, instead of worrying about everything,

I’m just enjoying things as they happen, because you never know what could happen. So what’s the point in worrying when I could just have fun?

Endeavor Not Looking To Sell WWE Despite Falling Stock Price

On September 12th, the merger between WWE and UFC was finally completed, uniting the companies under the Endeavor umbrella as the TKO Group.

However, ever since the merger was announced the value of TKO Group stock has fallen. This has sparked Endeavor into action with the launch of a “review of strategic alternatives.”

Despite the serious language, the company has dismissed the idea this could involve the sale of the TKO Group.
