Major WWE Star Supports Nikki Bella After Heel Turn

Nikki Bella has flipped the script.

Just seven days after promising to have her back, Nikki Bella sensationally took out Stephanie Vaquer on the November 10 edition of Raw.

On the show, Vaquer successfully defended her Women’s World Title against Raquel Rodriguez, only to be attacked by Roxanne Perez after the match. Although Bella quickly got involved to even the score, she then laid out the champion.

Bella celebrated by standing over the broken Vaquer and holding the Women’s World Title high above her head.

The Real Nikki Bella Is Back

During an appearance on the RAW Recap podcast, Big E gave his thoughts on Bella’s betrayal of Vaquer, offering a surprising endorsement. He described the veteran’s actions as “dastardly” but conceded that this is the Nikki Bella he’s been dying to see since she returned to the ring.

The former World Champion added that he’s excited to see what comes next now that Bella’s tapped into her old ruthless streak.

“Look, it’s dastardly, it’s low, but I love this for Nikki, I do. Her giving her flowers to this current generation, it’s beautiful to see.

But I don’t wanna see a Nikki Bella who is just bigging up the younger folks and saying, ‘you’re doing a great job and I’m here to be your friend,’ I’m here to see a Nikki Bella who is going after world titles. I want to see a Nikki Bella who is ruthless. That’s the Nikki that we came to know and love.

That’s the Nikki from a decade ago that was on top, was someone who was going to do whatever it took to be at the top of the industry. So this version of her, I’m excited to see. I thought there was a chance once we saw this pairing. That’s the problem with friendships in WWE. Anytime people come together and they’re friendly for a bit, I’m just counting down the days where it eventually implodes.

Now look, it took 10 years for our friendships to implode in the New Day, but eventually it happens, and I think this is a great trajectory for Nikki. I’m excited to see kind of what unfolds for her. A more ruthless, a more focused, a more, ‘hey, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get that title’ version of Nikki.”

Ahead of her heel turn, Nikki Bella revealed she’s been working with Bryan Danielson to improve in the ring and tweak her character since returning to television.
