WWE Star Set To Be Dropped From Judgment Day
One WWE star will soon be stepping out on their own.
Since its creation at WrestleMania 38 when Damian Priest joined forces with Edge, Judgment Day has been no stranger to change.
Shortly after the faction was created, Rhea Ripley was recruited by Edge, before Finn Balor arrived and kicked Edge out. Dominik Mysterio was the next convert in September 2022, and JD McDonagh got in on the action in November 2023.
However, in more recent months the group has undergone some major evolution. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest have been thrown to the curb, while Mysterio’s new partner Liv Morgan, and her enforcer Raquel Rodriguez have been added. Meanwhile, Carlito has thrown himself into the mix.
However, it seems even more change is on the way.
WWE Raw Star Getting The Boot From Judgment Day
Following the changes, it’s been reported on WrestleVotes Radio via SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, that Carlito could be leaving the group very soon and going on a singles run.
WrestleVotes: “I think now, with the addition of Raquel Rodriguez to the Judgment Day, it started to get a little bit bloated.
And I think if you have a street trash type gimmick for the Judgment Day where they’re kind of thugs and, you know, getting….rule breakers in that sort of environment, if you don’t toe the line of the entire group, or if you step out of line a little bit, or if you make a mistake, you’re going to pay for those mistakes.
So I think you’re going to see Carlito here in the next couple of weeks, sort of give the Judgment Day a reason to want to excommunicate him from the group. And I think he deserves a singles run.”
Joey Votes later added, “There’s no timetable. We haven’t heard much. I’d expect by the end of the year, maybe a singles run by Carlitos in the fold, but we do know that those plans have been discussed to separate him from the Judgment Day.”
Despite re-signing with the company months earlier, Carlito finally returned to WWE full-time at Fastlane in October 2023. The star initially formed part of the LWO before joining Judgment Day after being drafted to Raw in April 2024.
