WWE Star Ready For Full-Time In-Ring Return After 4 Years
A WWE star has expressed their desire to start wrestling full-time.
Tyler Breeze is currently signed with the Stamford promotion as a half-time talent.
He started wrestling under the Florida Championship Wrestling banner in 2010, which was later rebranded as NXT in 2012.
Competing as Mike Dalton, he was used as an enhancement talent. Due to his Dalton persona not receiving much attention from fans, he re-debuted as a heel character called Tyler Breeze.
His gimmick was that of a narcissistic wrestler who clicked selfies during his entrance to the ring and sometimes even during matches.
The Canadian wrestler regularly feuded with the likes of Adrian Neville, Xavier Woods, and Sami Zayn.
In late 2015, he was brought to the main roster as a talent on SmackDown, starting a rivalry with Dolph Ziggler. A year later, he was involved in an angle, where he went on an over 20-match winless streak.
He was then brought back into the tag team picture and paired with Fandango, thus repackaged as Breezango. The duo returned to NXT in 2019, winning the brand’s tag team championship once.
Tyler Breeze and Fandango were released from WWE in 2021. While Fandango later signed with TNA under the name Johnny Dango Curtis (JDC), Breeze returned to the Stamford promotion in backstage roles.
Tyler Breeze Ready For Full-Time Competition In WWE
Being signed part-time in WWE gives Tyler Breeze the opportunity to explore the independent circuit. He also returned and faced Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship at NXT Homecoming in September 2025.
During a recent appearance on the Reel Appreciation Podcast, Breeze expressed his desire to return to the ring as a full-time competitor, but admitted that the decision was not in his hands.
I’m not sure, I mean that’s obviously not my call. If there was ever a spot or an idea and they said, ‘Hey man are you interested in this?’ Yeah I don’t see why not. I’m still active, I’m still wrestling around just doing all sorts of stuff so it’s very, very possible but it’s up to them if they want to have me.
Whether or not fans see him return to WWE full-time after 4 years remains to be seen.
