WWE Star Reacts To Eddie Kingston’s Title Win

Eddie Kingston claimed the first gold in New Japan Pro Wrestling of his long career and now one WWE Superstar has offered their congratulations.

AEW star Eddie Kingston has a big month ahead of him as he takes part in the grueling G1 Climax tournament along with the best that NJPW has to offer.

Kingston will now go into that tournament with some momentum behind him after he fought KENTA at Independence Day night 2 in Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall. With the NEVER Openweight Championship on the line, Kingston pulled out the victory to claim the first gold in NJPW of his career.

Now WWE Superstar Santos Escobar has reacted to Kingston’s big win on social media, simply writing:

Santos Escobar was unable to have one of the biggest nights of his career as he competed in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match in London, England recently. Damian Priest came out with the briefcase on that occasion although much of the chatter afterward was surrounding Logan Paul and Ricochet’s brush with disaster as they crashed through tables to the floor.

It was not such a good night for another AEW star on the big NJPW STRONG show as they lost their championship.
