Logan Paul Calls Out Ricochet After Botched Money In The Bank Spot

Logan Paul Ricochet Money In The Bank

Logan Paul and Ricochet look like they are set for a big showdown in the near future as Paul explains what happened when their huge spot at Money In The Bank went wrong.

Paul and Ricochet were the talk of the wrestling world back at the Royal Rumble when they collided in mid-air after leaping off the ropes. WWE was hoping lightning would strike twice at Money In The Bank with the two men set to fly spectacularly via a Spanish Fly from the top rope through two tables on the floor. However, in the heat of battle, feet got tangled and the move didn’t quite come off as planned.

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul explained why the planned spot went slightly wrong and says it was Richochet that was able to power through and send both men through the tables at ringside as planned:

“So one of our legs is on the rope, one of our legs is on the ladder, and we are supposed to hit it at the same time,” he said. “And when he hit that rope, it was before me. So he moved it, so I slipped down all the way to the bottom. Keep in mind, I’m a newb, I don’t really know what I’m doing out there. So when stuff goes wrong, I don’t really know how to improv. So in my head, I’m like, this is f*cked. We f*cked this up.

“I’m looking at him, I’m like, oh, this motherf*cker is still trying to send this sh*t. I’m not even ready, his feet aren’t even planted off the second rope, just hucks a backflip…went crashing through the tables, scraped my shoulder, I hit my head on the thing. I’m fine, no concussions or anything, it’s just a wild sport.”

Logan Paul and Ricochet were later seen getting into a backstage brawl following the match with Paul adding that the confrontation came about because he felt Ricochet was “a little unprofessional.”

The reality is the backstage brawl was said to have taken place due to WWE’s planned ‘viral’ moment of the two stars crashing acrobatically through tables didn’t quite go as smoothly as possible.
