WWE Star Out With Torn ACL

A WWE star won’t be back in the ring for several months.

In recent weeks the rivalry between Gigi Dolin and Arianna Grace has been quietly dropped on NXT. Although two vignettes have aired continuing their story, they haven’t appeared on-screen together.

However, the source of Dolin’s absence has been confirmed. Following reports that Gigi Dolin had suffered a serious injury, the exact nature of the problem has been revealed.

In a new report, in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed the star has a torn ACL. Dolin hasn’t wrestled since March 12th.

WWE Debut Pushed Back Due To Injury

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Giulia won’t be making her NXT debut at Heatwave on July 7th. The company had originally hoped she would make her in-ring debut at the event challenging for either the NXT Women’s Title or the Women’s North American Title, however, a broken wrist has pushed those plans back.

Dave Meltzer noted Giulia will be arriving in NXT just not until “later in the year.”

The star suffered the injury in the main event of the first-ever event hosted by Marigold.
