WWE Star Opening New Training School
Aspiring professional wrestlers will now have a new option for where to learn the ropes as WWE’s Drew Gulak is opening his own wrestling school.
Gulak is an eighteen-year wrestling veteran who has wrestled all over North America. Aside from his seven-year-plus WWE career, which included a notable singles match against fellow technical grappling specialist Daniel Bryan, Gulak has also enjoyed plenty of success as a hardcore/deathmatch wrestler in CZW and as a masked wrestler as Fire Ant in Chikara.
Because of his diverse background, Gulak believes that he has all the firsthand knowledge to pass on a variety of different skills and tips to the next generation of professional wrestlers.
According to PWInsider, Gulak’s school will be called Catchpoint and will be located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school is set to begin offering lessons sometime this upcoming August.
Aside from Gulak himself, lessons will also be offered by “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams, AEW’s Wheeler Yuta, and a rotating crew of as-of-yet-unconfirmed guest coaches.
Those interested in signing up for those first lessons can do so here. The training program isn’t limited to novices as Gulak and his co-workers will be offering lessons for wrestlers of all experience levels.
Drew Gulak has spent most of his recent WWE career competing on the NXT brand. His most recent high-profile match was a failed NXT North American title challenge against Wes Lee on May 2nd.
