R-Truth talks about John Cena’s future

Recently, R-Truth appeared on Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, and he spoke about The Last Real Champion’s journey and future. He revealed that, like all journeys, John Cena’s journey was bound to come to an end at some point, but fans aren’t done seeing him. He will be there in other walks of life, just not this one.

It’s bittersweet. Because every ride comes to a stop right? We all have to jump off a ride at some time whether we like it or not. We have to. And sometime it’s good to be able to jump off that ride and walk into the sunset and hop on an another one. Sometime it’s good to do that, a lot of the time it’s good to do that. It’s best he’s able to do it his own way.

He’s able to go out on his own terms. You can’t get no better than that, to leave such an impression on people and in people’s lives and on the business and to be able to walk off into the sunset and ride another horse. We ain’t done seeing him, he’s just retiring from this walk of life now. So I think it’s awesome. My hat’s off to him, I won’t stop applauding him.
