WWE Star Says It’s Been An Honor To Learn From John Cena

John Cena has been working to nurture the next generation of WWE Superstars.

On December 13, John Cena will step into a WWE ring as an active wrestler for the final time.

At the Saturday Night’s Main Event special, Cena will face the winner of a 16-man tournament, which is currently underway. Cena has claimed that the central idea behind the tournament is to give a Superstar a chance to step up and seize the moment as he did when making his debut back in 2002.

In addition, the rest of the card will see main roster stars wrestle some of NXT’s biggest names.

So perhaps it’s no surprise that Cena has been working to help the next generation.

While speaking with the Boston Herald to celebrate Cena’s last match in the city, Bron Breakker revealed that he’s developed a relationship with the veteran.

“It’s been an honor to learn from him,” Breakker said. “He’s a quality human being, and he makes himself approachable. We’ve developed an open line of communication, and I can’t say enough about him.”

When asked about potentially being one of Cena’s last opponents, Breakker didn’t hesitate.

“There aren’t too many chances left, so it wouldn’t be something I would take lightly. If I get that chance, I’ll be ready.”

John Cena To Compete On Raw One Last Time

After claiming the Intercontinental Championship in Boston, it was announced that John Cena would return to the ring on November 17 when WWE Raw lands in Madison Square Garden. A short video from Netflix promoted the match as the “end of an era,” but there’s no word on who Cena will be facing.

There’s been heavy speculation that Cena could host an open challenge as he regularly did with the United States Title.

On the same show, Gunther will make his return to the ring as part of the ‘Last Time Is Now’ Tournament to decide Cena’s final opponent. The former World Champion is scheduled to face Je’Von Evans in the first round, while Solo Sikoa will meet a mystery opponent.

Elsewhere, Becky Lynch will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri.
