WWE Star Makes Hilarious Attempt To RKO Randy Orton [Video]

Randy Orton avoided the RKO outta nowhere!

The life of a WWE Superstar is never easy, especially with new threats hiding behind every turn.

On the June 14th episode of SmackDown, Randy Orton made his return to the Blue brand, coming to the aid of Kevin Owens who was being attacked by The Bloodline. The appearance by Orton was his first on WWE television since being defeated by Gunther at King & Queen of the Ring.

However, it seems Orton narrowly avoided disaster before the show went on the air.

In a new video posted on social media, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are seen talking about The Viper, who Ciampa calls “stupid.” He then decides, for reasons known only to himself, to try and hit Orton with an RKO he’ll never see coming. Except, things didn’t quite go to plan.

Despite the sneak attack, Orton turned around and Ciampa went flying, missing his target completely.

Randy Orton Might Be The Best Ever

Speaking ahead of the star’s return to television, Ludwig Kaiser praised Randy Orton as one of the greats, suggesting he might just be the best ever. Kaiser said Orton was someone he’d looked up to since he was a teenager, adding he’d love to face him in the ring.

Orton was almost forced into retirement in 2023 before finally returning to the ring at Survivor Series following back surgery.
