WWE Star Happy To Lose Royal Rumble If AJ Lee Returns
Bayley wants to win the women’s Royal Rumble and make her way to WrestleMania but she could be persuaded otherwise if AJ Lee comes back to WWE.
Speaking on Gabby AF, Bayley discussed the possible surprise entrants that could appear in the women’s Royal Rumble and said if AJ Lee were to make a comeback she might let the former Divas Champion eliminate her from the match:
Whoever wants to do a surprise entrance, just get ready to get thrown out by me. Mickie James is always awesome, I would love to see her again. Her music hits hard. Trish and Lita are always so fun to get those reactions, although they were just around not too long ago, still a good reaction.
In an interview I just had, they brought up AJ Lee since CM Punk is here. I wouldn’t mind that. I might actually let her throw me over the top rope if she came back. That’s how much I respect her.
When Did AJ Lee Last Wrestle In WWE?
AJ Lee left WWE as a three-time Divas Champion, first winning that title in June 2013. However, before that Lee was a featured main event performer in Raw throughout 2012 becoming embroiled in the rivalry between CM Punk, Kane, and Daniel Bryan and eventually becoming Raw General Manager for a spell.
Lee last competed in a ring on the Monday Night Raw on the night after WrestleMania 31 when she teamed with Naomi and Paige to defeat Natalya and The Bella Twins.
While it is not known if AJ Lee could be tempted into a WWE return, one WWE Hall of Famer has ruled themselves out of a Royal Rumble comeback.
