Former WWE Star Praises “Genuine Friend” Stephanie McMahon

One former WWE star has nothing but love for Stephanie McMahon.

Since leaving WWE, Ronda Rousey has been open about her frustration with the company, holding nothing back when discussing the likes of Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. However, her experience with the company wasn’t all bad.

Rousey has previously expressed her respect for Triple H, and she’s now lifted the lid on her friendship with his wife Stephanie McMahon.

During an appearance with KTLA, Rousey recalled working with McMahon when she first joined WWE, calling her a “genuine friend.”

“She’s just a genuine friend. From the very beginning. We were supposed to be enemies in the ring, but you’re usually the closest with the person that you’re feuding with. We were the ones beating each other up every week, and she was the one guiding me through so much and teaching me about the intricacies of the industry. She was a guide to me when I had no idea what I was doing. I’m always grateful to her. I couldn’t say enough great things about her,”

Stephanie McMahon Makes Surprise WWE Appearance

At the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Stephanie McMahon made a surprise appearance alongside Triple H. McMahon was clearly having a good time in a laid-back mood, even donning her famous ECW hat from her time as part of The Alliance with Paul Heyman in 2001.

Stephanie McMahon walked away from WWE in early 2023 after her father Vince McMahon forced his way back onto the company’s board of directors. She had remained away from the company until popping up at the Hall of Fame.
